What is a Hemp Lounge?

As cannabis slowly becomes more socially acceptable, people are looking for ways to enjoy their favorite activity publicly. Unfortunately, we’re not quite there yet. That doesn’t mean you’re completely out of options. There’s a new phenomenon sweeping the nation – hemp lounges.

Hemp enjoys a strange position in our society. It is technically not a controlled substance in the way marijuana is and hence doesn’t carry the same stigma. It makes sense, too, considering we have documented evidence of hemp being used by the earliest humans and the various CBD oil benefits that are well known.

The reason hemp is completely legal is that it is considered a non-intoxicating substance. While marijuana and hemp are both types of cannabis, hemp contains less than 0.3% THC. That amount is enough to produce psychotropic effects but not enough to get you high.

The social acceptability of hemp has allowed industrious entrepreneurs to capitalize on the profits that can be made with this substance. Enter, hemp lounges. Freedom Health CBD runs hemp lounges in Oak Ridge, Harriman, and Knoxville, Tennessee. You can enjoy several hemp products such as CBD softgel capsules while you’re there.

What is a Hemp Lounge?

Imagine a bar – you’ve got sports, drinks, food, music, and the company of like-minded individuals. Hemp lounges try to offer much of the same. Freedom Health CBD offers you the opportunity to be one of the first people in the country to try this new offering.

While the exact offerings at a hemp lounge will vary based on several factors, the general idea is to create a fun place for people to gather and mingle while enjoying hemp derived products and accessories. There are specialty menu items, such as hemp infused cocktails and snacks.

Above all else, it is a social venue designed to provide space for the recreational consumption of hemp. All other things are in service of the vibe.

At Freedom Health CBD’s hemp lounge, our aim is to create a fun and laid-back environment where you and your crew can relax after a long day of work. We’ve got lounges at all of our retail locations in Tennessee, so if you’re looking for delta 8 in Knoxville, or CBD oil in Harriman, Tennessee, we’ve got you covered.

Tennessee laws permit the purchase of hemp at hemp stores and even its consumption while you’re lounging there. This is permitted only if you’re over the age of 21, and the store features a lounge area.

Freedom Health CBD’s lounge offers a setup that includes couches, chairs, a surround sound system, a projector setup, and video game consoles. To provide a rewarding experience to our visitors, we plan on hosting numerous social events such as video game tournaments and movie premiere nights.

We’re hosting a Call of Duty tournament on the weekend of July 9th at our Oak Ridge, Knoxville, and Harriman locations. You can register for it here.
